The basin services module will show you how to correctly drape your client to protect their clothing from water and hair, properly shampoo and condition the hair, and deliver a professional neck and scalp massage that will have clients returning for more.

Just like styling, you’ll begin your cutting exercises on a mannequin head. You’ll master a range of cutting techniques, from long blunt cuts to various bob styles, concave and convex cuts, and layering methods.

In this module, you’ll transition to working on real models, applying all the professional cutting techniques you’ve learned and practiced on your mannequin head.

After mastering styling and cutting, you’re ready to dive into the exciting world of colour. You’ll start by learning the science behind hair colour, how to interpret the colour wheel, which solutions work best for different hair types, and how to mix colours correctly.

Since colour can feel overwhelming at first, you’ll begin by practicing on your mannequin head to refine your technique before working on real models. Your mannequin exercises will cover tinting, foils, and a combination of both, ensuring you’re prepared for any colour service your models may request.

Now it’s time to colour your models! You’ll be able to provide semi or permanent tints, half or full head foils, a combination of foils and tint, or nearly any other request. By the end of this module, you’ll be fully equipped to offer complete hair services—including colour, cutting, and styling—either as a full package or standalone treatments.
